At Mary Lou’s Homecare, our story is one of compassion, family, and a deep commitment to providing quality in-home care.

It all began when Bri Sheppard, RN, and co-owner of Mary Lou’s Homecare, saw firsthand the challenges her grandmother faced when searching for homecare services. The idea of leaving her home for a nursing facility was never part of her vision, but finding comprehensive, reliable care outside the Twin Cities metro area proved difficult.

Determined to fill this gap, Bri used her background as a registered nurse to create Mary Lou’s Homecare, ensuring that individuals in Chisago, Anoka, and Washington counties have access to personalized, one-on-one care—right where they feel most comfortable.
